My Skills

What I Do

My UX Process

01.

Define

In the first phase, it’s necessary to determine exactly what needs to be created, and why. At the outset, it’s crucial to precisely identify what needs to be developed and the underlying rationale. What is the purpose for the existence of this product? Who is the target audience? What business challenges will this address and resolve?

02.

Research

During this stage, my objectives include researching, pinpointing specific challenges or opportunities within the user experience, and articulating them clearly. I aim to define goals and objectives that directly tackle these issues, all with the overarching goal of gaining a profound understanding of the users and their needs.

03.

Analysis

In the planning phase, I take all of the information that I’ve gathered  in the research stage and start to plan out how I will meet those needs.  This involves the creation of user personas, user stories, wireframes, and other high-level plans to guide the design process.

04.

Design

Now that I’ve gained a solid understanding of my users and have a strategic plan in place, it’s time to dive into sketching out ideas for their interaction with the interface. This is the phase where I begin contemplating the overall layout, navigation, and specific elements on each page.

05.

Prototype

Now that I’ve got a functional UI, the next step is turning it into a working prototype. Prototyping is key to presenting a more realistic experience during usability testing, providing more accurate feedback and insights into what’s effective and what needs improvement.

06.

Testing

Prior to launch, I make sure to conduct usability testing with real users. This step is crucial for pinpointing any areas that require improvement before the final product goes live, providing valuable feedback from the user’s perspective.

07.

Launch

After completing the testing phase and incorporating all necessary changes into the high-fidelity user interface, it’s time to pass the product over to the development team for implementation.
